We have a section of our music library containing a genre called “The Good Life”. It’s a slew of cheesy, hokey music that ranges from Frank Sinatra to cat music to moog/accordian/string/swing versions of mainstream songs/artists to old-school TV commercials.
Needless to say, I enjoy The Good Life. So I played a whole bunch of it during this show. So much so that a listener called in and described the set as a “cheese fest”, suggesting a Good Life artist that I should dig up (Jim Nabors, who played Gomer Pyle in the Andy Griffith Show and struck out on his own as a singer).
There you have it. Enjoy The Good Life.
